This course is for people who are interested in CapPlan and for those whose roles are involved with the planning process. These typically include Planners, Business Analysts, IT Specialists, Service Management, Nurse Management, General Management & Charge Nurses

Objectives

On completion of the training attendees should be able to do the following:

• Know the meaning of Capacity Planning in a Healthcare setting
• Understand the benefits of using CapPlan for specific roles within the hospital
• Review the relationship between the CapPlan software & methodology
• Understand how CapPlan integrates with other systems in the hospital
• Be familiar with the major functional areas of the system
