CapPlan Viewer Administration Training

This course gives an introduction to the Reporting Centre and the Data Export Centre within the CapPlan Software. It also covers the components behind the Dashboard which includes setting up the Viewer.

Prerequisites

Attendees must have attended the following training courses

  • Module One - Introduction to the CapPlan Viewer

Attendees will have an intermediate knowledge of Windows applications such as Excel.

Attendees will be required to have access to a PC or Laptop computer.

Maximum Numbers

We restrict our courses to a maximum of six attendees per session to allow the trainer to provide ‘hands on’ instruction for our attendees.

Who Should Attend

This course is recommended for those people involved in the administration of the CapPlan software including the creation and maintenance of data alterations and Viewer elements such as dashboards, reports, metrics, and documents. This may include Planners, Business Analysts and IT Specialists.

Objectives

On completion of the training attendees should be able to do the following:

  • Set up and schedule reports
  • Maintain existing scheduled reports in the event of data alterations
  • Set up metrics and metric groups
  • Maintain existing metric groups in the event of data alterations
  • Set up and schedule exports
  • Maintain existing scheduled exports in the event of data alterations
  • Building and maintaining CapPlan dashboards
