Growing professional services company with local and international customers in the healthcare sector seeks a new UK Business Development Manager.
As a member of our small international Sales team, you will be responsible for the planning and implementation of Emendo’s business and market development strategies in the UK, with a particular focus on sales, and driving sales through appropriate business partnerships. You will be responsible for all elements of developing new business opportunities, as well as account managing existing relationships.
Emendo is a dynamic company focused on improving operational performance. We deliver capacity planning solutions for healthcare providers which include consultancy services and best practice methodology, backed up by a locally developed, integrated software package. Emendo is a market leader in this sector, with customers in New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the UK.
As part of our expansion plans we are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated professional to take up the challenge in this exciting role.
Reporting To: Sales and Marketing Director
External Contacts: Key focus on target market prospects, influencers and partner organisations.
Internal Contacts: Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Director, UK Channel Consultant and marketing team. Communicate market needs to the Product Development team and working in partnership with the Service Delivery teams in both in the UK and New Zealand.
This position is based in England and has responsibility across the UK. Initially this position is a sole charge role with support from the Channel Consultant also based in the UK. However, this is likely to change as business develops in the UK and across Europe. The emphasis of this role is primarily on building a customer base in the UK for Emendo. The key responsibilities/accountabilities of the UK Business Development Manager are:
Strategic Account Development - Lead the full sales management cycle, from market entry, pipeline development and prospect engagement, to sales closure and the ongoing account management. Plan and manage to sales targets.
Marketing Management - Research and develop the appropriate marketing mix that ensures company offerings are represented effectively in the UK and Europe. Ensure that marketing initiatives support internal and partner sales teams to meet and exceed their goals.
Market Requirements - Through sales and marketing activities, research, identify and compile market requirements for Product Development. Provide input into market strategies and directions that the company takes as it develops.
Channel Management - Represent the company in the UK and Europe as the lead on developing and managing partner relationships Personal Leadership - Provide positive and supportive leadership to any Emendo personnel involved in European sales activities.
Support other areas of the company - Support Service Delivery and Product Development where required. Support the CEO and the Sales and Marketing Director in the development and progression of the company
