CapPlan is enabling software that allows hospitals to efficiently and effectively plan and manage patient workloads. CapPlan provides scenario planning, forecasting and viewing capabilities across Inpatient Beds, Accident and Emergency, Theatre and Outpatients.
CapPlan software has been developed for two groups of people, Operational Planners and also General Users, which includes everyone from Charge Nurses to the CEO.
For planners, the software is designed to provide in-depth forecasting data for use as a guide in decision-making. This part of the software is reasonably complex and requires training, but is does not take long for planners to become proficient. Combined with the CapPlan Planning and Advisory Services, planners have the software and process methodology to plan well in advance for more complex scenarios that may arise.
For general users, CapPlan is designed to provide in-depth ‘quick-stats’ information or detailed reports, in an easily accessible manner, relevant to your requirements. All information is delivered via a web browser and generally little training, if any, is required. ‘Quick-stats’ is easy-to-access information that provides a real-time status against plan views and uses a ‘traffic light’ warning so course-corrections can be made in advance. CapPlan can be ‘personalised’ to suit a role, so that information is fast and easy to access, enabling more effective and proactive decision-making.
